Preparing the base layer

The building of the new swimming pool has already begun. We will begin by showing details of how the construction proceeds, the whole picture looks by now like a war area. Here are some workers preparing the base for the new pool. By now we are very lucky because it does not rain, therefore the project goes faster than expected.

Arranging the road beside us

The city council is building a bicycle lane in the road beside the camping, all along the river until the beach. Here you can see two workers fixing some nice wood poles. The city is also trying to arrange some other details, painting new road lines and hiding the garbage containers, by now in a strange way that we hope at the end will be corrected.

Exploring what's below

These last two weeks, some tests have been performed around streets 10-11, in the center of the campsite. The tests are a little bit noisy but they last just a few hours each day, sorry for all the inconveniences. We are looking for information about the ground 10 - 25 m deep. More about that in the next weeks...

A new engine for our web site

After a long process, our web site has been updated in order to use dynamical, php-generated HTML pages. By now you will only notice that URL addresses have changed and some errors have been corrected. In the middle term, this will allow us to update it more easily as well as adopt a more modern look.

Prices for 2010

Prices for 2010 are already available, as a PDF, in the prices page. We will put them more definitely at the end of this season 2009.

New bycicle parkings in the beach

The city council has installed some bycicle parkings in the beach, in front of the campsite. They are made of wood and fit nicely in the environment. A little detail: normal, thin-wheel bycicles tend to fall since the hole to put the wheel is a bit too wide. Mountain bikes, however, stand correctly.

Enjoying the evening

The summer is in full swing, almost each night we have an interesting concert. Here a concert tonight in front of the internet cafe.

Arranging the beach

The coast administration is trying to protect the dunes and plants in the beach. During these days they are putting fences to limit both the parking lots and the entrances to the beach. In the middle term, this will help giving a more natural appearance to the environment in front of the campsite.

Problems with WiFi

The WiFi network worked more or less good for the first weeks, but now we are experiencing problems because the trees have grown more leaves and this seems to stop the communication between antennas. We will be trying to correct this difficulties in the next weeks, by passing lines between antennas. Meanwhile, we are making sure that at least the WiFi works correctly inside and in the terrace in front of the internet cafe. Sorry for the problems.
