Details in the multisports court

The multisports court is now completely finished with the addition of a sign with the prohibited actions, and an indication that balls can be borrowed from the reception, at no cost (in case you don't bring your own). A very important point, the court will be free to use. By now we don't make reservation lists since it is easier if you can go and inmediately play. If later in the high season there are conflicts we will have to rethink it, but it will be nicer if we can keep it without any list.
There are also lights for the night (if the guards don't automatically turn them on just ask them please), so you can play until 23:00, afterwards it is prohibited because the camping has to be more and more free of noises.

Changing parking places

Because in front of the apartments we are going to have green area and playground, there is no place for parking. As a result, the parking places for the apartments are being moved behind the apartment's building. In that area we previously had the parking places for the bungalows 5p Plus of Sector C: these are going to be moved a little bit further. In the above map you see in orange the apartments' parking and in yellow the bungalows' parking.
Location of bungalows' parking is not optimal, but it is not so far away, and this enables easily 4 new bungalows and a big playground area.

Marking emergency doors

In the supermarket's emergency doors we first had a set of poles that impeded the vehicles to park nearby. But it was easy for the vehicles to hit these poles since they were not very big. Now Vadim simply puts some custom-made signs to mark the doors.
In a few days we will begin anouncing changes for 2013.

New signs in the children's playground

Children's playgrounds have to be kept from dogs and rubbish, so here is Vadim fixing one of the new two signs in the area in front of the restaurant, at the campsite's entrance.

Improvements on the entrance signs

In the process of changing the camping's name we also needed to change the sign in front of the bridge. Here is the new sign, we have also repainted the sliding maintenance door, and somewhat repainted and improved the fence. This new look should last for the next few years.

Updated bridge

New camping sign also for the bridge in front of the campsite, of course, as a consequence of our name change. Here we have changed the format and choosed a smaller one, half the size of the older, so that the plants inside the river gain visibility.

The sign near the tennis courts

Another road sign that needed update, now the one at the other entrance to Empuriabrava, near the 11 tennis courts. We have chosed the same design and icon as at the main entrance.

Also the sign just before the roundabout at Empuriabrava's entrance has been updated with the new name. The old sign had the "tent and caravan" icon. Now we have choosed to put only the tent icon, looking for visual simplicity.

Changing the camping sign beside the reception

Now it is the turn of the main camping sign, located beside the reception. It has been updated according to the new name. In order to recycle ;-) we have reversed the old sign and painted on that other side.

New camping signs in Empuriabrava

As part of the name change, in these last months we have updated the 3 big camping signs in Empuriabrava. Not a big change, but more coming in the next days...

Painting the entrance road

These last weeks have seen an improvement in the traffic at the campsite's entrance, thanks to the explicit painting of bicycle lanes, with their corresponding icons and arrows. Once the painting begun, two big direction arrows for the cars were also added. The result of these changes ;-) is that now bicycles and cars enter and exit the campsite at a more orderly manner, there are always exceptions but there is an obvious improvement.

One of the last signs

Vadim is fixing one of the last signs that were not yet positioned, this one is located in the south-east access to the new pool. You can see, farther in the picture, a garbage bin that is still waiting to be properly fixed.
Meanwhile, the machine room needs some signs and last touches, to be done during this next week.

Improving signs at entrance

We are already preparing the camping entrance for the 2009. Here shown are two new signs in the way from the bridge to the reception, in order to have some parking places for the caravans and motorhomes that have to register in the reception.

Wood signs for speed limit

This summer we have deployed 8 new speed-limit traffic signs inside the campsite, in order to try to avoid accidents. The new signs are made of wood.
