Another beach or How to avoid shopping

Today the tramontana is blowing, and while women will insist that it is a good opportunity for shopping, it is also a great day to look for beaches that are protected from the wind.

You go to Roses, cross the village, then go up the mountains in the natural park 'Cap de Creus' following indicators to the beach 'cala Montjoi' and the famous 'restaurant Bulli' (very good but extremely expensive). Just 1 Km past cala Montjoi, you will find 'cala Calitjàs', this is a small charming rocky beach, ideal for swimming in clear water. The whole way takes about 30 minutes by car from the campsite, it is not so far but you have to drive slowly because the road is narrow and twisty.
